2026 Israel trip in November to feature work with local ministers followed by emergency training program

In November 2026, it will be the fifth trip to Israel. This visit will focus on work with local ministers for the first week including home medical ministry visits followed by attendance in a course with experts that is taught to civilian and military health care professionals from around the world.
The second week will encompass attendance at an emergency and disaster training course sponsored by the medical staff of the IDF and Israel Ministry of Health. This training for the last program included hand-on light training in search and rescue, meeting medical professionals at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, attending lectures at the Israeli National Resilience Institute, visiting with Home Front Command, receiving hands-on training at the Israel Center for Medical Simulation, visiting the Magen David Adom National Dispatch Center, visiting the IDF’s Medical Military Training Base, touring Sderot, attending lectures at the Israel Trauma Coalition, participation in a hospital preparedness drill at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, followed by a graduation ceremony at the Old City of Jerusalem.
